How to configure the solar panels for EP600?

From the above table ,the PV input power of EP600 is 6000W.Since the sunshine light is not very sufficient in European. Generally speaking ,6000Wp solar panel can generate approx. 4500W in the best weather. On the other hand ,there are at least 10kWh battery capacity configured with the EP600 inverter, so it takes about two hours to fully charge at a very sunny day, which is not counting the power consumed by the home appliance. so how many panels we need ?Actually it also depends on the electricity consumption of the family and the battery capacity . Generally speaking ,we recommend that customers have 5000Wp to 7000Wp of solar proof ,so they can use the solar energy by themselves or sell electricity to grid, but the power should not be too large as the fact of cost. We can compute the max.value with the two non-equality as follow:

m *Uoc < The maximum input voltage value of EP500 (550V)

so m equal to 11, 46.6*11=513V, which is less than 550V.
m: The number of solar panels of each array that can be connected in series;
Uoc: the open circuit voltage value of the solar panel(46.6V)

n * the short-circuit current of the solar panel (11.07A) < MPPT maximum short-circuit current of (15A)

so n equal to 1, only one set ,not need parallel connection with others.
n: The number of solar panels of each array that can be connected in parallel.

Does the PV side of the system have lightning protection? What are the AC and DC surge protection device (SPD) ratings?

Yes, the system includes lightning protection. The DC rating is Type II, and the AC rating is Type III.

What are the application scenarios for the EP2000?

Self-consumption, peak electricity pricing, backup UPS, off-grid solar system, parallel operation, etc.

Can I use the system to charge an eletric vehicle?

Yes. You can use EP2000 ESS to charge either three-phase or single-phase electric vehicle.

Can I charge the EP2000 with three-phase 400 V gasoline generator? Can the generator start charging automatically when the battery level reaches the set SoC low value or at a specific time?

Yes, you can charge it with three-phase generator. You can also configure the SoC low value or specific times for automatic generator charging in the app.Please refer to the APP user manual for specific details.

What’s the capacity of B700?

Each B700 battery has a capacity of 7,372.8Wh. The EP2000 ESS can be scaled from 14.7kWh to up to 51.6kWh with 2 to 7 battery packs.
